Workshop objective:
- Interpret financial statements and annual reports
- Identify key elements of council financial reports
- Recognise best practice and approaches
- Understand the responsibilities of the elected members, CEO and Senior Managers in relation to financial management
The workshop will include an introduction to finance management, budgets and operational plans, reporting detail, frameworks and the audit function.
ALGWA Queensland ran this workshop in February 2015 and due to popular demand are running it again this year.
Catering is included as part of the cost to attend the workshop.
